2025 Defense Modeling Virtual Environments and Simulation Summit - VIRTUAL ONLY THIS YEAR

The MOVES Institute will virtually host the 2025 Defense Modeling Virtual Environments and Simulation Summit. The event will be held June 3-5, 2025. This event was previously known at "The MOVES Open House."

The event will run from 0800-1400 PDT/1100-1700 EDT each day. Here is the draft agenda for the event - it will be finalized with more details and specific times as the event approaches.

Day 1 - Tuesday, June 3, 2025

Day 1 will begin with our Naval Keynote by Vice Admiral Michael Vernazza (Commander, Naval Information Forces) (invited), panels with personnel from the M&S offices from multiple services, and presentations by MOVES faculty on their research.

Day 2 - Wednesday, June 4, 2025

Day 2 will spotlight our students and industry partners. There will be a panel by industry partners on utilizing M&S in the DoD.

Day 3 - Thursday, June 5, 2025

Day 3’s morning session will begin with a focus on wargaming, with discussions on the Neller Center and the Northwest Pacific war game which MOVES faculty recently participated in. The afternoon session will involve several of our graduates discussing their current assignments.
